If you're a regular Snowmobile.com reader, you know from our Feb. 4, 2008 report that Ski-Doo surprised us with some new engine technology. Oh, the ETEC wasn't really that big of a surprise, but the all-new 4stroke certainly was.

"Terrain racing is a big part of our consumer development," said Twomey. "It's one of our ways to learn about our sleds in order to give customers a better product. What wins on... [Read More]

2009 Polaris Dragon SP |
|
Apr 09, 2008 - 12:45 PM - by admin
|
Time's running out to guarantee that you'll get a 2009 800 or 600 Polaris Dragon SP. If you ordered during the month-long Snow Check timeframe of March 7 to April 7, Polaris would guarantee delivery by November 15th of your 800 Dragon SP - or you would get a $1,000 rebate (US offer). We would guess that should overcome some wary consumers who may have heard that some Polaris 800cc powered sleds were held back this past season. Simple marketing applies here. Order early. Take delivery by November 15th or Polaris rebates you a thousand bucks.
There's really little risk for you if an 800 Dragon... [Read More]

2009 Arctic Cat F570 Review
When it comes to value snowmobiles, Arctic Cat's 2009 F570 fan-cooled twin should be at the top. At US$6,499 the F570 is not the least expensive full-sized snowmobile, that honor falls to Polaris' b...

Products from the 'Good Old Days'
There have to be advantages to experience, even if you spell that as O-L-D. And there should be some advantages to being a pack rat. My wife tends to spell that as J-U-N-K!
The years have given me a ...

2009 Ski-Doo MXZ 550X Review
Let's face it, the 2009 Ski-Doo MXZ 550X is one generation removed from being a truly great buy. At US$6,599 the fan-cooled 550X version in Ski-Doo's popular MXZ model line probably has one season...
