SnowmobileWorld.com is pleased announce a new member service for forum members, Supporting Member Status.

Becoming a SW Supporting Member allows you to donate a small amount to help fund the SW site. For a very small amount per year, you also get promoted to a new forum user group that allows others to see that you help support the BEST sled site on the Net.

The costs associated with bringing you SW are enormous and increase each and every season. You can help make SW better, allowing us to introduce better technology and more new features. And when you become a site supporting member, you'll get some cool features added to your forum account.

Here's what you get when you become a SW Supporting Member:
  • You'll be promoted to a new forum user group called Supporting Member, which will show this status on every post!
  • Your username will appear in the online list with a + in front of it signifying that your are a SW Supporting Member!
  • A new group icon will show in every post that you are supporting the SW site!
  • Maximum Upload file size is increased to 250KB!
  • Upload a personal photo up to 200 KB in file size!
  • Your flood Control restriction is reduced in half!
  • Your maximum number of Private Messages doubles!
  • You can open or close your own topics and posts!
  • Edit your own Post Title and Description!
  • Change your Forum Member title as often as you want, no matter how many posts you have!
  • Your allowed avatar size increases to 150 X 150 pixel size!
  • NEW - Access to a Supporting Members ONLY forum!
  • NEW - UNLIMITED Global Upload limit!
It is VERY IMPORTANT to note that user's DO NOT need to become a Supporting Member. The Supporting Member program is 100% voluntary and is used only to allow a way for users to show their support for the site.

Participation is NOT mandatory.

Show your support for SW and help make it better by becoming a SW Supporting Member today. Please note that extra features will be continuously added to the SW Supporting Member package and that current participants will automatically receive these NEW features. It will just keep getting better!

my wife is a manager at a bank and from her experience she will not let me use a credit card on the internet. :0:

Paul, do you give it to a waiter at a restaurant or mail order over the phone? Even more risky. I think it's more of a generational thing. Internet security is actually much safer than handing your card to a waiter and letting him walk away with it. In nearly all instances humans rarely touch an electronic transaction. But of course the possibility of someone breaking into the system and getting your info is always possible, but becoming harder and harder every day in real e-commerce. Can you tell I deal with Internet security? Lol
