Hello, I'm a 19 year old collage student looking for some help. I'm trying to fix my fathers 440 Mercury Trail Twister. It has sat for at least 15 years under my grandfathers deck and the engine is full of seeds. I'm not sure what decided to store seeds in the engine, but now I need to disassemble the hole thing. It has a Kohler 436 cc two stroke two cylinder engine with dual carbs. I've striped the engine down, but the magneto cover (i think that's what it is) Is blocking my progress. Its a pale green color. I've seen youtube videos that show them being turned to a certain angle before being removed, but none of them were the same as the one on this engine. If anyone knows how I'm supposed to remove it please let me know.

^ This link should bring you to some pictures of the snowmobile and the pale green part I can't remove.
