Hello all.. So I need help w carbide info.. I have a 2001 zl 500 w no studs. My bf (who is out of town currently) told me I need to run 4" carbides.. I have a hook up on 100$ carbides for $50 but they are 8"... Could I run these on my sled or would I have mad steering issues??

you can run em,,, the sled will always oversteer, from that much blade up front,,, but you'd get used to it....

8" would be very aggressive and the back end will always be wagging. 6" is pretty aggressive for a sled without studs. Your bf is dead on, 4" is perfect for a stock sled with no studs. I would pass on the 8".
