I'm getting my new/used sled ready for riding. Can anyone tell me the jetting chart for a 2003 Polaris 800 with VES? I'm in the process of cleaning the carbs and thought that I would drop one jet size. I talked with one dealer, he told me the factory was 440's and I could safely go to 430's. After tearing down the carbs, it looks like the guy had 480's? Does that sound right? This will be low elevation riding in Mn and Wi. I remember seeing a jetting chart somewhere on this site. Any help. please? Thank you and Happy Holidays, Mark

My 03 800 Pro X came with 480 (the dealer said) and he dropped 2 sizes to 460. It has 3800 miles and runs fine in WI and the U.P.

It's cheaper to replace the decals, then build up a little sled. The first time I rode a snowmobile was 7/4/72. It was a 71 488 Polaris Charger.
