I would like to install a primer on a 2004 Polaris Touring snowmachine but am not sure how to connect it to the carborator or if there is a part that I can buy to put between the carborator and the engine. Can anyone make a recommendation on how to got about this project. It is needed as the machine is hard to start in the Alaskan cold weather.
My son's race sled was always hard to start when is had set for awhile
. We just opened the hood and poured some fuel in the air breather. I assume this occurs when it has set over night. If it is a problem when you are out and stopped for an hour or so I would carry a squeeze bottle of fuel on the sled or a can of starting ether.
If you still want a primer just run the hose into the breather instead of the carb.
