Looking to buy a brand new hold over 2002 or 2003 MXZ. Here's my choice, just looking for opinions. For about the same price (within $100)

2002 MXZ 700 Adrenaline
2002 MXZ 800 Sport

Either drive for 3 hours or pay an extra $300 for a 2003 700 Adrenaline

I haven't actually gone to look at the 800 yet, just talked to them on the phone today

What's be big difference between the Adrenaline and the Sport. I know RER, and as near as I can tell from the Ski Doo website, it's running boards and shocks too?

Which one would you choose?

Ride Height springs are NOT heavier. Only the front and I am not sure if the skid spring around the fron shock is heavier. I have the 800 Adren but for 2001. Fast sled but the weight comes obvious on long rides. Go for the 700 and swap out the factory reeds with V-Delta 3 and a 1/4" spacer. You'll keep up with most 800 with that set-up.

I think if the '03 had reverse, that's what I'd buy, you get the wide ZX-X chassis & running boards and DPM. I think shock/spring packages were the same in '02 for sport and adrenaline lines. Adrenaline had reverse, extra running board traction, DPM and maybe adjustable toe holds? RER was option on the sport in '02. I have an '02 MXZ 800 sport, not bad, 700 does seem to have a better reputation though.

I have an 01 700 adrenaline and i can beat my buddies 800 . I have a clutch kit v3 reeds and his is all stock. All out he will get past me but I beat him 1000ft with out a problem. Another buddy has a tcat and Ive beat him over half the time we race up to about 70 or 80 and then it looks like i locked up the brakes as he flies by. I like the 700 but I would go with whatever fits you. I also get alot better gas milage than the 800 x.
