That is a sign of the track giving out. The reason a stud pulls thru is either (1) - The stud isn't tight. (2) - The belts in the track are giving out.
If the track is old, you may want to consider a replacment.
Now you can make a repair by using a propane torch and buring the edges of the hole to coderize the rubber and seal it up. This will keep the track from de-laminating (pulling apart there). Then apply some Gorrilla glue around the edges of the holes and this will further help, but it will not be anywhere as good as new.
But again, a track has cords like a tire. If the studs pulled thru, the belts are broken in these areas, and there is a much greater risk of the track coming apart. When tracks come apart, it is usually at the most un-conveniant times.
