I have a buddy that has a 2000. He bought it new, and I must admit, it is a great trail sled. Handles like a dream. Very comfortable, too. The only trouble he had was the track. Started coming apart after 1 1/2 years of riding. No problems with new track (not Yami).

not that it really matters, but the "Other Three" 's 500 cc engines are making 105 HP! Just so you know when you attempt to race.

not that it really matters but the "other three"'s 500's must have some B@LLs if they wanna keep up with ours, because Ive never seen another 500 that will run with me. yamaha must have some special rocket buster or somthin right??? :blahblah:

yamamaniac, I've no doubt that your sled is nice, and lots of fun, with great handleing, and there's no doubt that yamahas respond very well to clutching performance improvements, but the yamaha twins were underpowered compared to the competition. In a drag race, you'll lose, I've see it too many times.

Still a very nice and very fun sled.
