I would like to no what you guys feel about precision skis versus the flex ski i am thinking about buying a set and would like as much public opinion as posssible thanks

its like comparing new tires to bald tires........precision all they way over flex ski

The precision ski works great on hard pack but poor turning in powder,although they do have good floatation when going straight.If I had to buy another set,they wouldn't be the precision ski's.The flex ski seemed more versitile in all conditions with a good set of carbides.

i love them .but i was on a logging road last year very icy they really dig in i almost lost it very sensitive. ??? ???

my only complaint with the flex skiis was darting. I went with the percisions and they are awesome, but the carbides are expensive. you might want to try the $20 pcs strips on your flex skiis first.

I dont have any other complaints about the percisions other than price of carbides though.

I have all three of the snowmoblies on precision skis. 007 rev, 01 summit, 03 550mxz. would not settle for anything less. They handle great, turn great I believe they are worth the money. :D

I run a Mach Z and do not see any need to spending the extra cash ont the precision skis. How often are your skis on the ground anyhow?

The precision skis are the best skis I have ever had, and I actually found they had much better bite on icy conditions than the flex skis, not to mention superior handling on every surface I ever tried them on. You really can't talk about a stock ski for handling in powder, since what stock ski actually handles in powder? I can say I found their floatation in powder better than the flex ski, but let's face it, if you find yourself in two feet of powder, you steer with your weight, not your skis. I did take my 02 700 with precision skis off trail in DEEP powder last year, and I found the skis just fine. I would think if you ride in deep powder all the time, you would want the powder skis or Simmons Flex Skis. Otherwise, I would take the precision skis over anything else I have tried yet - Great handling with NO darting.
