My driven clutch( the one on the end of the drive shaft) moves a little bit in and out... is it supposed to move at all, or should it be tightened?

It's called floating, it's supposed to do that.

I usually pull the driven clutch off in the fall, clean the shaft, and coat it with the low-temp grease. Keeps it from seizing up and tearing up belts.

In the old days it was thought having play was needed. Today it is a proven fact that movement causes belt failure on high H.P. sleds.
They say with no matter how much play you have, the clutch is still forced over to the bearing side under acceleration but when you let off it slides from side to side causing excessive wear. ???

Just to reinforce what mikadoo said, the ski-doo race manual also says that there is no benefit to a floating secondary.
