It's my buddies sled, 2002 mxzx800. Pin the throttle and it will stick. Anybody else having this problem? His dealer installed a new set of carbs and it still happens. His dealer has been on the phone to doo and they don't seem to want to help. Any suggestions?

i havent seen this on flat slides but on my brothers mach 1 with roundslides the throttle was sticking and it turned out to be a frayed cable inside the box where the throttle & oil pump cable are hooked together...hope this helps, let me know what you find

With a brand new sled you wouldn't think there would be a problem with the cables. *But I guess they could be defective. Thanks, I'l let him know your theory Mike.

My old 93 Mach1 would do this occasionally when the carbs iced up...probably not the same problem on your buddy's 02 though since it has heated carbs.
