700classic, give her time to build up endurance ;) I can now ride just as far as the guys :) I am still tired as heck but I can doo it. :) A few more rides should get her going. Try to stop for a lunchbreak or coffee, hot chocolate etc. We usually doo 150-200km per ride. Cochrane is another story last trip there we did 1200km in 3 days :sarcasm: :0:

My wife is the same... she loves to ride... and hates slow pokes! She gets pretty wiped after a trip to Whitney and back.

Yep, My girlfriend likes to let her Viper breathe too. There are times when I just wonder how she can handle a big sled like that. Oh well, I'm lucky I guess.

my girlfriend has yet to find out the joys and rush of rideing snowmobiles. i think i may take her out for the first time this weekend. probably just take her out on my dads, 02 pantera. hopefully she'll like it. I'm not one for having passengers though. thats why i have a zr 800 not a touring sled so i hope this year i can get her driving a bit a maby next year she'll by one. Probably a good idea that she starts with the pantera 600 not the my 800.

My wife said she would never ride sleds 6 years ago.One day I told her that she had to go for a ride on a two up i had.She agreed for one time only, so I dressed her sled clothes, put toe warmers in her boots and hand warmers in the gloves,(no hand warmers on 91 cougar for passenger),got a bunch of friends to ride with us and when we stopped for awhile I told her to drive it around a little and when she got back she jumped off with a big grin and said,"so when are you going to buy me one?" I couldn't get the classifieds fast enough. Now we'll be on our boat in the middle of summer and she'll say, "can't wait to go sledding", mission accomplished!!!!!!!!

I had to work my wife into the longer rides. When she first started riding we started in and returned to the same area. Now she boasts to almost everyone she meets about her "longest ride", Kapiskasing to New Liskeard, in a day. She was pretty much wiped out but she hung in there!!

I bought a 95 wildcat about 2 years ago. As it turns out, my wife liked it as much as I did. It surprised me, since she doesn't like the cold too much, but she does love HP. I wanted to get her something a little lighter, and something that rides better. I bought her a 01 ZR800LE last week. We took the sleds out for our first ride last weekend and had a blast. She didn't have any problems handling the "big" sled (60lbs lighter than the wildcat), even thought it was her first trip driving a sled (all the other times she just road around our farm).

My only problem now is that once she really gets used to it, I am going to have a hard time keeping up on the older sled, so I guess that will just be an excuse to buy something better :-)

My wife got hooked a few years ago riding my Vmax600 and when it was time to upgrade, she wanted electric start and reverse so I wouldn't have to help her muscle the sled around. We got her a Viper ER which she loves. Now, if I can only get her to drive the truck and trailer as we're going to and from the trails so I can catch some shuteye! :D

i got my wife a 93 580 zr when that was the great sled, then i had a 95 zrt 800, next think i knew she rode my sled and loved it so i had to by her a 96 zrt 800 mt. cat. she rode this for a few year , then we got her a 600 mt. cat, well now she has ridden my zr 800 and she thought that a 800 would be nice again.
