Can anyone help me out? I have a 2000 zr 600, with vforce reeds. the sled is new to me but it seems real sluggish, not as snappy as i thought it would be. Tha carbs are stock with a 350 main, e clip in the middle position, airscrews 1.5 turns out. I ride around 1000-3000 feet @ about 20-30 degrees. And it is hard to start if i have been riding awhile. any suggestions would help, thanks in advance.

That sounds about right. *I have a ZL500 (1999), and found out that I had a leaky exhaust gasket on the left cylinder. *Changed them both, cleaned the carbon from it, and BLAMMO!!! Brand new sled.... Dunno if thats your problem, but worth a quick check, make sure the nuts are tight at the exhaust, if they are loose, take it off and check for carbon build up on the manifold. *The gaskets are only like 2 bucks a peice and take all of 30 minutes with taking a long time to file off the carbon.... and cleaning the motor up where the oil spit out...
