My buddy's Viper doesn't seem to turn very well. His carbides are in excellent shape so I know that it isn't that. My question is what is the best way to adjust ski pressure on this sled? I am not familiar with the Proaction rear skid in the least---does messing with the transfer rods add ski pressure? It looks like the front shock on the rear skid is adjustable--is this assumption right? I would also assume that cranking this down would cause more ski pressure-right? Will I have to mess with the limiter straps at all? Right now his front shocks seem to be set with a lot of pre-load (4.5 inches measured from the bottom of the shock to the bottom spring collar) would you suggest any adjustments here? He is running no studs right now with 8 inches of carbide up front and an 1.25 inch track out back. We're gonna stud it with 96 1.375 inch Woody's studs right down the middle so I really want to figure out the adjustments now so we can solve any fuiure pushing problems Thanks!

if the limiter straps are loosened all the way, it won't stear well under power, tighten the limiter straps.
My MMax is just about the same suspension. I travel in deep snow so I leave mine loose so the front will lift and stay on top of powder when there is some. on hard pack, in turns I let off the gas so it sets back down. thats the most I can help.

like they said, its the limiter straps
and play with it till you get it right because the viper will corner as well as any sled and better than most, I rode one all last year and it was great in the cornering department, its just in the bumps where its lacking

The limiter straps need to be tightened until you get the desired handling. I would also put the front spring back to stock setting. The goal is to have the front spings as soft as poaaible without bottoming out. If condition happens when accelerating the rear tranfer rod need ajusted. Should have equal gap top and bottom when rider is on sled.
BLEEDIN'GREEN The stock setting for the limiter straps is 32 mm. To check the adjustment is to measure from the top of therod to the bracket. I would start there and go a little shorter and then see how it feels. I have 01 srx with 6" carbide and 1"track and the sled handle great. Or mybe you got to much carbides on your ski? I hope this helps? :hallo1:
