You people are starting to sound like the wusses that live in TO & think civilization ends @ Steeles Ave. One winter with above normal temps (last year) & everyone thinks winter is gone.

Besides w/ all the carrying on about snowmobiling being the most dangerous winter sport, good, those wusses can smash into each other on the drive up the 400 to go cross-country or downhill skiing :D

LadyK & jaqui583 probably have girlfriends who can't imagine they go out sledding "in the cold" :D :D

OK you damn Canadians and Alaskians can keep the cold now.

Its -26F here this morning.

Who out west was complaining about the warm temps?

Are you happy now?

You're right, Revrnd, my girlfriends all think I'm nuts! Actually, I can't stand the cold. That's why I invested in really good equipment. If you're dressed for it, you don't feel it; just ride and have fun!

Pretty nice of you Canadians to send the cold south for a change. THANKS! We've had snow on the ground here in Pennsylvania since Christmas day. No new snow since the 2d of January but it's still ridable because of the cold. We don't have the frigid cold that you have, but still down in the single digits with highs in the teens. It would be nice to get some fresh snow, because whats here is pretty hard. We'll probably get some the second week of Feruary since I'm heading to Maine for a week.

This morning it was -38 in Timmins with no windchill, thats staring to get abit out of had. The high is only supposed to reach something like -25c. This is the point were you just can't ride and enjoy it.
Mind you it gives the groomers time to catch up cause theres hardly anyone out there right now!
The forcast show it warmin up and snowing, hope they are right!
