fortunately or unfortunately i live in a very high tourist area.i love sitting outside timmy's on my sled checking out all the new muscle but try riding a trail on a saturday.might as well stay home.i don't think that there's any shortage of people with sleds or money and thats fine but.................YOU DON"T, I REPEAT DON"T OWN THE TRAIL.show just a little respect for the people that live here.if you want to race,go on the lake.you can't miss it,it's right beside the trail.being passed at warp 9 when i'm already doing 80k is not only a blow to my ego it's dangerous.thanx for letting me vent.no offence to anyone who visits midland and rides responsibly. :withstupid:

You might be surprised just how many of the racer wanna be's may be local to your area.
Last season the club in our area had a land owner close the trail due to as he described it "#$$#@ city people on their snowmobiles" tearing up his fields well off the marked trail. Well a couple of weeks after the trail closed it was found out that the actual culprit was a 14yr old from two farms away that had taken his dad's sled out for a joy ride.
Ya never really know for sure, but yes its easier to be offended when its your home town.
