I can't tell you how it compares to others but my buddy bought a new 02 700 XC SP this year and is an awesome handling and performing sled. Its powerband is very wide. The thottle responce is extremely snappy and the suspension is bang on.

I can't come up with anything bad to say about these and it is very fuel efficient. It uses a full third less fuel than my 600 tripple from new and leaves me in the dust without any trouble whatsoever.

A perfect balance between ride and violent acceleration. His had a 144 studs and it really streches the arms.

I have a 02 500 XC SP. Its the same suspension and chassis as the 700 and everything about it is great!! Rides and handles really well! :D

I recently upgraded from a 93 600 xlt to a 02 700 xcsp and I LOVE IT. Like the previous post I have nothing negative to say about this sled. I,m a big guy at 6'1" 250 lbs and this sled still puts me back in the seat, it pulls with the best of them. I ride with a buddy who has a 01 600 pro-X and he loved the way my sled pulled, it almost launched out of his hands when he pinned it at a dead stop. He is a smaller guy 5'8" 150 lbs. We ride trails and pits and this sled loves both. Handles awesome and jumps just as good. Good luck :blahblah:

All I have to say is I used to do a DOO and now I do a POO :)

Only have 450 miles on mine but I love it already. Very crisp band all the way through. Doing some minor mods like 144 picks, Woody's 6" carbides, SLP high flow intake with 540N mains, new modded gearing, moded clutch and possibly a MBRP trail silencer.

I ride with a buddy on a RX-1 with no probs at all. Actually he cant even believe my performance.

The suspension needs tweaking to each specific rider, but very easily done right on the trails.

Just did 850 miles in Canada on mine. This thing works great for me. Didn't transfer enough, but that was an easy fix. We bought 2 and are starting to tinker with gears and clutching on one and the other stock (except jets). Gonna try out the new setup tomorrow. I have no regrets at all, they are priced to move now so good deals are to be had. Check e-bay if you dont want to part with the duckets for a new one. Oh yea, one last thing, don't go pickin any fights with an F7, you'll be cleaning your face shield. jmo :D

Have a friend that has one. Sweet. Setup on them is about as dead on as a stock sled is going to be, not many twins that are going to beat it.

I have an 02 edge X 700 I have 2300 miles on it the only thing I have done to It is put a Heelclicker clutch kit in it. As far as speed when I race my cousins 800 ZL SS I'm about one sled length behind in an eigth mile. Love it very reliable.

The f7 shouldn't touch it . I watched them at the drags here twoweeks ago and the F7's that were there were nothing special. both poos and doos had no troubel eating it up. and all sleds were stock class.

tadatop. you are right there. the xc 600 's beat the F7at the drags also. but that was after the class racing was over and the guys were
F ing around.
