OK heres the deal.

I have 2 very BAD AZZ zx X package MXZs right now neither of which Id like to part with really.

I want a REV very badly, the Blair Morgan looks exactly like what I want other than the windshield/handlebars (Id like the 440 X REV better). Now I can trade in my 01 800 towards the Blair REV or I could keep my zxs and wait and snowcheck a REV X package or look for a Blair for sale come fall/winter.

I just dont know what to do. I know the smartest thing is probably to get rid of one of the current sleds and get a REV because who needs so many sleds? But I dont see the problem with extra sleds in my garage.

HELP!!
Im actually stressing about this.

I would get the ZR900! OOOOPPPPS, wrong forum. :D :D ha ha lol. Seriously, I would wait, you're likely to find a mint REV with low miles cheap later in the year. Peace.

Once you get the rev you wont wanna ride those antique zx s. I know I didnt. I hate when my wife wants to ride the rev and i have to ride the zx.

If you have the $ get the REV. I'd have one of everything if I had the $.

Do yourself a favour and get a REV. It's unbelievable. Personally I would wait to see what can be snow checked. I like the color of the REV Summit and maybe Doo will offer that color in the spring.

I wait it out till next season ;) Thats what i'm doing as i want to see what direction doo is going with the sdi system. There will most likely be lots of new non-current sleds around for sale at low prices come this fall anyways.

i know the feeling mxz ??? im trying to decide between a rev and a renagade for next year i trail ride but like to play in the powder just as much and i hurd the rev is not a powder sled do to the beaver tail & its a short track ether way i need to buy 2 of the same then theres no fighting on who rides what i rode both and i liked the renagade better but it might be that im used to the zx platform then theres the ?? of to snow check or not ? you dont get a better deal it just you get what you ordered ??? you would think you get something from doo since you ordered early well i guess well have to wait and see what the 04s look like and then theres the left over 03s too :nervous:

well this is just my oppinion, but if I was you I would get rid of the oldest sled and buy a rev. With all the money I put into my 01 this year, (track, y-pipe, stator, and now a new engine) I should of just of traded it in for a new one. So if you had good luck so far, get rid of it before it cost you.

all i know is i had a mx-z 600 in the zx chassis and if you doo guys thought they were good riding and handling sleds know wonder you all think the rev is so good.that mx-z of mine was the biggest piece of chit i've ever riden so of course the rev is better it would not take much to improve the ride and god knows theycould not get any worse

anteater, Im not sure what your problem was with the sled? I have had 3 zx sleds and they were all sweet, what was wrong with yours?

I'm a cat rider [zr-900] and I had a change to ride a rev. For trail riding that chassis just plain works, its still butt ugly, but in terms of blasting over the bumps the rev is so stable and easy to move around its the best [trail] sled out there.

If I were you, I'd wait till next season to see what ski-doo comes out with. Chances are, the new revs will look better, be better than this years revs. I dont know about the blair morgan rev though. That thing is pretty mint looking. I just saw one down here today. That 800 must scream! :D If I had the money, thats what I 'd get. But overall, I'd wait till next season. They might just look like that. :)

You should be able to go just about anywhere in MinneNoSnowta and name your price on an 03 holdover. Dealers are swimming in 'em.

;) MXZonly, I was in the same boat (sled)! I did some mod's to my 01' 700 and now it is out running all of my friends sled's and my dealer called me last week to tell me a 7c was coming. Last night I too posted my sled in the 4sale ads. And just wrote a check for $9000.00 OTD for a new rev 7c with a 1.25 track on it. :hallo1:

Jared what do you mean dont stand up when I ride it?
At least I wouldnt look so dwarf like at 6' 4" I would just look stupid hunkering down to reach the bars. I think I would have to have a riser on the bars after sitting on several, they would be quite short for me.

MXZonly, I would wait to see what 2004 has in store. Its already the end of january so you have at best 2 months. And with low snow conditions early, the sled market sucks. Ride the zx chassis for the rest of the year, its not like its a POS. I'm sure skidoo will have a sled similar to the blair morgan model available for 2004 + any other updates, at a spring order discount. By the way that is a swwweeeeeet sleigh.

i would pass Steve. Wait for the snowcheck. You are going to pay out the nose for the 7c model, then they will probably have something identical come spring.

Honestly, you can get 800REvs for $7200 and put on one of the aftermarket tunnel kits and have the same thing for less.

Thanks for the input so far guys, I still cant really decide. I know Id like to keep both of my sleds and get a REV by next riding season. I do really like the 7C sled though and really hope if I dont get it that Ski Doo will have X packages very similar to it.

So far Ive had about 9 telling me to buy the REV now and 6 telling me to wait.
