I have purchased a 96 VMAX 500 and was wondering if anyone may have a source and approx. cost for plastic skis for this model--are they even available? I have been told that they are not because of the "pogo" style suspension of this particular model... this is my first sled, so I'm not sure where a good source for after market parts may be. Thanks for any help you can offer.

have you tryed totaly yamaha.com or dennis kirk.com i have a 93 vmax4 it has aluminum skis with plastic inserts what does your have ?

It has steel skis with plastic inserts and "ski skins" over (or, I guess "under") everything.
