are all the f111 600 motors the same or did they update anything through the years

I dont know their history real well, but I think the later ones had an extra hole drilled or a larger hole drilled in the case to get more oil to the crank bearings. I could be wrong though. The earlier ones did have some crank issues.

I also believe they boosted the compression in 97 as you have to burn premium gas in them.
