hi everyone, one my friends also has a formula mx. He hadnt driven it for a while and had left it in the snow for about a week. He thinks one carbeurator is frozen.

Anyways, he started it up and he said there was this really loud thumping noise coming from where the clutch is. He said that there mite of been snow on the clutch when he last rode it. He was driving it around and it kept revving up making a weird noise. He had to hold onto the brake alittle to help him keep the speed down.

Any suggestions on whats wrong??

belt could be junk. check to see if there are any cogs missing on the belt cause that will cause a thump.

just checked and yes it was the belt. Apparently he didnt lift the track off the ground so it was frozen to the ground and when he went to go it didnt go anywhere but the clutch was pulling at the belt but the track was frozen. ;)
