No water to be found!! I see you're from Vic. Harbour, - I ride out of Honey Harbour & haven't seen much water at all. This is a phenomenal Winter!! Awesome ice & tons of snow!! I haven't checked out Treasure Bay @ Beausoleil yet but all the channels up through Go Home were frozen (don't know how thick, but I haven't seen them freeze in 4 years). If it stays like this we'll be riding the lakes in April!! March will be lots of fun!!! :p

yeah,that channel going to the delawana is usually open,but i haven't checked it this year yet...........

Sorry to hijack this thread, but have any of you been out to Giant's Tomb Island yet this year? It "looks" like it is frozen all the way, but I'm not sure.

LB700 - I've actually never made it out to the Tomb on the sled. I hope to this year. I would imagine that it's good all the way out, but can't say for sure.

The stake lines are up from Midland & Penetang to Beausoliel, Beausoliel to Cognashene, 6 mile Lake, & a bunch of local tree lines for the cottagers.

I was just wondering
As much as I am sure it is fun, I just don't see the point in riding water, I spent too much money to take that kind of a chance, I am not trying to spoil anyones fun, I mean everyone can do what they want I just don't get it is all. but keep the pics coming because I do think it looks cool.

it's sort of like jumping off a cliff into a lake,you know it's crazy but it feels so good............. :D

Thanks ZRT800! I was just talking to a buddy, who says you CAN make it out there, but you have to be careful. Apparently there are 30' ice tunnels out there now -- can't wait to see it again!
