Mighty RX-1

I just got back from Michigans UP and am now able to give a honest report on the RX-1.
First off, It freakin rocks! Of the 6 sleds in our group it was the fastest. The group consisted of 2 800 revs, 2 02 800 mxz''s and a well setup ported 98 machZ. The machz was the closest but I could still pull him (sorry to report that machzzz1).
Yes I''m stock except for heavy Hitters and an airbox mod(thanks for the info BBY)
The only place the weight showed up was when I attempted to be a smartass and got it stuck. It did take 2 of us to yank it out.
I really don''t know what all the fuss is about with the pro action rear skid, it didn''t ride as well as the MXz''s, but not much worse. This is impressive to me considering the big weight difference, plus I haven''t made any adjustments to the rear skid with the exception of pulling up the limiter straps and loosening the front shock. So who knows how well it will ride should I figure it out. No visable wear to the hyfax.
The front suspension is awesome. Coming off a machZ, I really didn''t notice excessive ski-lift but will install the longer links anyways. No adjustments were made to the front shocks.
Fuel milage got better with every fillup (and it wasn''t me that needed to stop for fuel ). The first tank I got 12, 14 on the second, 16 on the third and now have plenty of gas left while everyone else was on fumes and had to fillup again while I sat and watched . No oil consumed that I can see.
Hookup doesn''t seem too bad but will possibly install a 1.25 for next season. I didn''t really need the 192 megabites because of plenty of snow.
Starting was the best of the group! Each morning it was below zero and all I did was simply touch the key and she fired to life! She warmed up better than the rest too. The 800 twins pulled really hard and needed 5-6 pulls to bring them to life. The mach only took 2 pulls every time. All coughed and spuddered except the RX-1
Windshield is great and I will leave it alone.
Gauges are great, easy to read and no warning lites came on ever all week.
Without a doubt, it is everything that I read and expected. Will it run with a rev thru the rough stuff? Nope, but few sled will. If I had it to do all over again I would in a heartbeat
