Hey guys could ya give me some ideas on this one, I have a 01 zr 440 snopro crosscountry. At best it would pull strong up to around 100mph. Recently though it will go to about 70 and at that point when i give it more throttle it just makes more intake noise but no additional speed. The compression is at 133lbs,carbs are synced, egt looks good, belt is new and sits flush to secondary sheaves at idle. The track rotates freely, but have noticed that when letting off the throttle the sled does not coast like it used to,nothing seems to be bindingon the skid frame. Please any input is appreciated, thankx

Hey prostock:
Heres a little test. Take a permanent marker and put some good marks on thr primary clutch. from the inside to the outermost edge. Do it on both sheaves and in four spots. Give it a good run and check to see if the marks are completly worn off. If they aren't then your clutch isn't shifting out all the way.
Means different wieghts ( more )
Or less fully engaged spring.
