Just got back from a great ride in Gogama Ont stayed at the Minisinakwa Lodge right of the C trail we used this lodge as our home base for 3 nights ,the trails were well groomed ,I would advise everyone to book a couple of days in this area .Ran 600 miles in these few days.The owners of Minisinakwa Lodge were awesome,clean cabin great home cooked meals served in there well heated lodge . If you need information on the lodge or the trails speak to Jim or Joanne ,Jim is also the man that grooms the trail ,give them a call you wont regret a stay with these people at there resort lodge . tel 705-894-2170. I forgot to tell everyone about Mickeys ski-doo dealership in Timmins , I had a little mishap on the trail and needed a windshield, made it into Timmins stoped at Mickeys,they didnt have one in stock ,but they took one off there in stock sleds so i could carry on in the -30 degree weather ,i 'll tell you they have a great bunch of people ,that will do anything for you,great dealership...

To finish our trip, I'm thinking of taking TOP C south out of Timmins to Gogama, then east on C106A to Matachewan & TOP A. How is the signing in this area? I've heard in the past that slush can be bad north of Gogama & east on Campbell Lake (I think). Has slush on this route been a problem this year?

no everthing was great when we were there in january ...damn it was -45 i cant see there being any slush...this year is the second year going to that area and its a great area to snowmobile...

We rode thru the area on Friday & the conditions were great. The only problem is the stake lines @ Mattagami aren't signed. I turned around & went back to the rest. to ask some sledders which line to follow. Take the left hand line to go to Matachewan.
