My buddy and I did 1178 kms on REV sport 8s in three days. Left friday morning from Mactier and end up in Notre Dame Quebec. Ride comfort on the Rev is great. Only thing i would have liked is a little higher wind shield. When we left it was -25 and the wind hits me right in the lens of my helmet. The only thing thats a bit sore is my neck probably from ducking under the air flow. On my 02 MXZ Adrenaline last year I would have been hard pressed to ride that far especially coming home on Sun. when the trail were beat up. Whats the furthest any one else had done on their REVs and how did you feel after?

I just took the 600HO for 300km on saturday. Didnt even know i went for a ride afterwords. Trails were also beat up pretty bad on the final 150km. But you wouldnt have noticed.

Rev is fast and awsome.

Before i was pretty sure, now im certain. No other sled can handle with the rev in the wooded trails. I was keeping up to my friend on a Zx. He is a fast driver and I dont know anyone else that can drive a ZX faster. I was keeping up to him no problem and accually probably could have gone faster, normally he will pull away easily when im driving my CK3 or even when i rode a ZX. If someone like him got a REV he would be impossible to catch if he wanted to take off.

Comfort is excellent and so is the build quality of this machine. Got 3000Km + on this machine and so far not a hitch. Even the gauges cleared up and stopped fogging.

i know what you mean about your buddy being fast. i ride with a very good rider, and he can pull away from me when he wants to. on my rev, he can't even keep up with me. he says he is going to spring order a rev, then i will probably be back to not being able to keep up with him. so i am just enjoying it while i can this year.:)

BTW, i agree about the windshield. i have an mx helmet, and froze a couple weekends ago in the UP of michigan. i taped up my goggles and it was WAAAAAAAY better.

I have a question regarding the comfort of the REV as I am thinking of ordering one. I am 6'6" tall and curious on your stats. My last trip I noticed alot of REVs but most of the riders where not near my size.

Well tiny at 6-6 the Rev is about the sled that will some what fit you I'm just over 6-1 and have found the wind shield to be to low. If you long in the legs then you will also find the top of your knees get cold. Your knees will be higher then the side deflectors. Even at 6-1 I wish I could get some larger deflectors for my knees.

Im 6,7 and the rev fits me fine. Infact I would say its the most comfortable besides the old F chassie which had tons of leg room.

In the beginning your legs will tire, but you have to get used to the fact that your not using your legs anymore. You use your arms for everything on the REV. For holding you when you hit the brakes. Only leg use is for standing up.

Maybe it's my age, (50) but on rough Tug Hill NY trails I'll take my Rev most days, but when I go to Canada and do 250-300 mile days I take my 02 mxz 700 sport, both for comfort and for an accurate gas gauge. Too long sitting on the Rev and my legs cramp-up. On rough trails, when your already standing half the time the Rev its the way to go.
