Anyone been to Myrtle Beach? Looking for ideas on what to do besides basking in the sun.

How can you go someplace warm for vac, when there is snow on the ground?????

The wife is not a winter person. She hates the cold and the snow. I don't know how I got hooked up with her. lol :D

I had a conversation with her the other day regarding a possible work transfer to Traverse City and I told her we would keep the house down here as her winter house. lol ;)

Myrtle Beach is cool. I love that place. Ive been there many times. It is a good place for the family.

Are you set on Myrtle Beach? Been there once, but I prefer the Outer Banks in N.C. , a little more solitude. Wife and I rented oceanfront house for the week,(pre-daughter), but no lack of things for families to do.

I love Myrtle beach. Been there about 5 times. and stayed at least 2 weeks each time.

I love the main strip, Broadway on the beach, and the nascar gocarts (Which i got kicked off for rubbing some loser into the wall.)

Its a awsome place to go to. You will have fun.

Just wondering, How warm is it down there this time of year. I dont think its much passed 15c and the water cant be that warm. I might be wrong. But i sort of remember someone telling me that when i was down there.

We're planning on sometime in May, but I think we might head to Cancun instead.

Plans are in stone now for Myrtle Beach. Just can't wait for time to go by.

I'm hoping we will. We booked an oceanview suite for the week. I just hope the water is warm enough for the daughter to swim, if not there is always the two pools.
