I have 2 94 jag's and I can't get them to to run correctly? The one I have to use half choke to start, then shut off as soon as it runs, and then keep on the gas to keep it running, but when it idles down and I hit the gas it sounds like it is sucking too much air. I have replaced the fuel pump and cleaned the carb and air box and nothing different.

The other machine I can get to idle but the same problem when I touch the gas.

I have heard that it could be the seal and bearing leaking just behind the clutch but when I use propane to get the idle to jump nothing happens so I think I have ruled out any air leaks but I am not sure??? Any help would be great.

PLEASE ANYONE HELP WITH ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE HAVE SNOW NOW AND I CAN'T GET THEM TO RUN????????????

Thanx for the help. Ended up doing a complete take down of the carbs, remove every nut and bolt, cleaned with carb cleaner, adjusted one of the machines needles, moved it up one ring, reassemble, replace all fuel lines except for the line in the tanks, runs fine now.

Still unsure about the machine with the adjusted needle.

The other machine I adjusted the carb to the same specs but when it ran the thing was screaming. So moved the clip on the needle back down one ring and runs fine. The fuel line in this machine is solid from shut off valve to the fuel pump and the other has alot of air in it. Did I temporarly fix the fuel problem????
