:D I was thinking of getting a gps. What is a good one at a reasonable price? How do you get the maps on to the gps? Is there a diff. in detail between units.

I got the Garmin E-Trax Venture and it is good so far. I do not think you can get maps off it, you have to step up to the next one which is about $230 for maps. Mine was $170.

I use the Garmin E-Map for my ATV, Motorcycle & in my truck. I love it. Screen is big enough to actually see at speeds over 10Mph, and I can set all my waypoints on my PC then transfer everything to the GPS. I can also replay my trip from the day back on my GPS to see the routes I took. Makes it nice to add trails that are not on the map.

:withstupid: Have an e=map Garmin and love it..Check them out at www.garmin.com The CD's are about $110.00 each for Topography, Road & Recreation, etc. You can purchase them a lot cheaper on e-bay. Or find someone you know and make a backup copy. The new Garmin Rino is terific but expensive..I will not go out in the snow with out mine. :inlove:
