My buddy has a 03 800 efi Mtn cat with 144" x 1.5" track. He is looking for clutch setups that will give him better performance. Anyone have a setup that works well on the efi?

Thanks.

Sure its not a 144 x 2 inch track. heelclickers work great on bottom end but the only place it seems to help. great hookup! Run the limiter straps on the skid frame loose in powder and on the hills. run as little ski pressure as possible. this setup seems to be the fastest topend also.use body to turn sled. oppisite this if need handling on trails. Speedwerx makes a few upgrades for the 800 efi motor. pipes, head, clutch kits. v-force reeds seem to make sled bog bad on bottom end in efi version. keep rpms at 7200-7400 this is my setup at 9000 ft also I run a 55/53 helix.

Hey Sidehill,

My buddy does not do a lot of Mtn riding - more rough trail stuff, so he put a 1.5" lug on when new. He likes the longer wheel base as it is smoother on the trails. He is a bit of a nut, last year he had a ZL800, year befre a ZR800.

Thanks for the info.
