Well 2 days before we start our vacation it decides to rain/ice pellet freezing rain last night 10 cm of it. At least we didnt seem to lose much snow. Today they are calling for everything from thunder storms to white outs with 90 kmh winds. At least we will have some fresh snow for riding later this week.

we juts hammered with the same type of storm. high winds, started out with lost of freezing rain, but after it was all done we got about 12 inch of the white stuff. real heavy snow too, the trials r gonna be sweet this week.

It is looking pretty darn good here :D :D 6 or 7" of real good snow on the ground and it is still snowing :D :D . Only draw back now is I'm going to have to shovel my roof off :( but it is worth it :D . Weather man says about 12" before it stops trails and lakes are going to be great. Hope it turns to snow for you guys.

:( Perm I agree this sucks if you are staying in Southern Ont. Machzzzz says you are off to Cochrane so this can only have a good affect on the conditions. We on the other hand are starting a 6 day RAP tour on Sunday and I bet this really screwed up some areas for us. Hope the ride from mattawa to Barrrys Bay still has snow.
Anyway hope you and the Lady have a great time!!!!

yup, and we get nothing.

I'm suppose be doing the RAP tour with 5 others starting Monday, hope the weather turns around...................we need snow.

Nimrod we have changed plans and will be riding from here instead. We will be going to Cochrane later in the month. If you are around we should hook up. Danr and dpaige and the members of Team Renegade will be basing out of Team Renegade HQ.

Well, if it makes you feel any better. I just took my dog out for a walk, its 40 above and melting, in "The Middle O f Alaska" on 4 Feb 03 at 630 am. We occassionally get chinooks that warm us up in the winter, but we have had one of the mildest winters on record already. As most are aware our snow conditions are fair to good, just make sure you are all careful, warm weather= Avalanche.
