I called the other day to check on getting some more oil and asked about the "VES" oil and he asked me which one "VES-2" or just "VES".

He couldn't tell me any difference except $4/gal.

I wish to tap into this great resource and ask all you fine people which one to get and why?

I just bought my first gallon of it today to try out, I'll tell you how it is after the weekend. How much is a gallon of VES-2 anyways?? I got charged $33 today and thought that was too high. :cussing: What do other dealers charge?

I heard the the grapevine that Polaris found out that there is issues with VES and for this year they have re-formulated the oil so the VES systems won't clog up.

I had a dealer tell me the only difference is the smell,but who knows??

I have put on over 1200 miles this year and I started the year by using the VES II oil. I looked at my valves at about 700 miles and they looked good. Also it smells awesome anyone that rides behind you comments how good it smells.
