i think maybe my track may a bit to lose. just wondering what some of the other pros think. At high speeds, say around 100 - 110 i am getting a vibration. it isnt a constant vibration but its pulssating. Also when i am traveling at 80+ and i let off the gas, it also vibrates and is the same pulsating fealling. Just wondering if its my track. SWRules

If it only does this at 80+mph I wouldnt worry about it. If you not hearing racheting then the track isnt to loose. Most likely whats happening is the track may be sligthtly rubbing something, like the tunnel exchangers or protectors, the bulkhead or more likely built up ice and snow. The tracks do stretch a few inches at speeds over 50-60mph and picks can compound the problem.

If your really concerned about it, crank up the rear of the sleda couple of feet and pull out the 2 rear bolts and let the skid swing to the floor. This will let you take a good look at the tunnel.

You might want to check your drive bearings. This same thing happened to a friend of mine and it was a drive bearing.

:withstupid: Plus when it does it when you let up on the gas, it could be a loose chain. Easy to check. Like the bearing one though.
