: 95' ZRT 600 Pics
800MXZ 07-23-2001, 01:12 PM Does anyone have a pic of a 95' ZRT 600?
I have a friend that says they don't exist. Cat made 500 to qualify for racing production rules. They were all black w/ minimal decals. Just *a green stripe in the side of the hood and a samll decal on the hood that says ZRT.
Thanks! Just post here or send me email!
skidoosmoker 09-15-2001, 02:43 AM http://www.snowmobileworld.com/ikonboard/upload/1995 arctic cat zrt 800.jpg
here is your 1995 arctic cat zrt 800 pic you were asking for.
800MXZ 09-15-2001, 08:27 AM I think that is a 96' The 95's had hardly any stickers on it. I don't think a pic is out there. I know they made them, just were in short supply.
Cat Attack 09-16-2001, 12:00 PM I don't believe that that picture is of a 95 600 either, but they did make some. *Cat does this every year. *They come out with a model late in the season for dealers to have and let their customers try out. *In 95, for the upcoming 96 season, it was a ZRT 600. *I took one for a test ride myself.
Downriver Thunder 09-17-2001, 06:42 AM Go to this website and you will find your pic. *You know it is a true 95 by looking at the spindles.

This other pic is a 95 too but with newer decals.
800MXZ 09-17-2001, 08:22 AM Thanks HOTZRT
PowderBoy 09-18-2001, 11:28 PM I'm pretty sure thats a misprint. According to the NADA guides and Kelly Blue Book. Arctic Cat didnt manufacture a 95' ZRT 600. Both appraisal books list every machine Arctic Cat produced from 1976 till today. If you looke under all the manufactured sleds in 1995 you wont find a ZRT 600. So if you got ones its worth -0- because its got no appraised value. Hate to ruin your bet..... your more then welcome to keep it to yourself. Heres the webiste at nada

skidoosmoker 09-19-2001, 12:29 AM I believe my pic is a 95 800 because they never made a zrt 600 in 95. also in 96 the motor size was printed in the side of the seat at the back.
Downriver Thunder 09-19-2001, 10:54 AM Would you like the name and number of a person I know who is a sales manager for Arctic Cat who will verify that they did make a 95 600? *It was a limited build but not for general sale.......
PowderBoy 09-19-2001, 06:11 PM I did hear fomr some dealer that they were an late release sled. However they were considered 96's so when the 96' came out they called it 96'a
800MXZ 09-19-2001, 06:31 PM PowderBoy - Now, they made 500sleds 1995 ZRT 600. SDoo did the same. They could qualify to run ISR ovals and drags then in the winter of 94/95. Click on the pic. the HOTZRT liked, it is a picture of a 95. The sticker has been removed off of the hood. They made 95s, look at the different spindles. I think the 95 had AWSII while 96 on had AWS III (I think). AMSnow had a write up back when they cam out, just kind remember where I put the 6 year old mag.!
ZRT600MtnCat 01-21-2002, 03:54 PM Yes they did produce them, but they were not advertised in the sales brochures and they were distributed to engineers, racers and freinds of Arctic Cat only. How can you tell the difference between the 6 and the 8 on the decal anyway? http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
Sharkey 01-21-2002, 10:18 PM I raced against the 95 Zrt 600 at the ISR World Series of Drags in Minoqua Wisconsin, I had the other 500 build racer only Formula 111 Ski-Doo, stock class. They smoked the 580's bigtime. http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
1greenmachine 01-22-2002, 04:08 PM It wouldn't surprise me if it was a late release. I have a late release 96 zr580 with the ETT tunnel that was done so that cat could use the tunnel to race.
SLDRDR 01-22-2002, 04:45 PM They did in fact make a 95 zrt600. They where not for sale to the public in 95 only to test ride or race for Cat. *I test rode one to see if i liked it before i ordered my 96 600. *What a mistake it was a piece of @$!#. It broke down every week, got to hand it to Cat though it never ever cost me a cent to fix.Any how back to the orginal question. *You could buy the 95 at the end of the year though and that is how they got to the Joe public.
800MXZ 01-22-2002, 07:17 PM My local Cat dealer (Friend of Mine) had one that they kept for them selfs. I know they made it, just wanted a pic to prove it.
As far as Blue Book Values, neither Cat or Doo's 600 tripples are listed as 1995 models. I owned a 95 FIII600, the build tag was 11/95
JETRep 01-23-2002, 12:17 AM If you are looking for some form of "evidence" you can go to http://www.brownsleisureworld.com (http://www.brownsleisureworld.com/Parts/SNOWMOBILE/1995/) microfiche. *It is listed there.
ZRT600MtnCat 01-23-2002, 12:26 AM There it is, a parts list. Hey thanks JETRep, I am going to check them out for parts too.

gravy davey 10-11-2006, 05:19 PM Fiche hood pic
jtman04401 11-05-2006, 12:17 PM I will find one of my old mags.. there was a limited build of cat 600 triples in 1995 to compete with the doo 600 in ice ovals/drags the 95/96 winter. I am not sure however if they ever released the sled to the public though. I think it was a limited build for factory racers maybe? I will drag out the box of mags sometime and search through them. Its times like these that I am glad I have been saving sled mags since the early 80's !
snofrog 11-05-2006, 01:51 PM thank`s . M
800MXZ 11-05-2006, 06:34 PM Yea they were a late season build. Jan or Feb.

If the sled was built in November of 95, wouldn't it probably be a '96?
XCR583 11-24-2006, 10:35 PM If the sled was built in November of 95, wouldn't it probably be a '96?
[/b]
I would think so!!
macius 11-25-2006, 12:48 AM here's what I think might have happened... Just like with vehicles, say they manufactured the sled in july of '95. It would technically be a 95, but the 96 model year sled. with vehicles it's the same, they come out with the next years model before it's officially that year. I had a 79 El Tigre that was considered a 1980 El Tigre in NADA, but a 1979 on the registration. the sticker package is different from the 1980.

It was a VERY VERY late release!
kid rocker 11-25-2006, 10:42 AM It was a VERY VERY late release!

Glad we got this one cleared up. :p
puree 11-25-2006, 10:47 AM actually I believe Revrnd is correct,,,, if the tunnel is stamped that it was made in 95 (anytime of the year) it is officially a 96. I know for a fact that it works that way with cat and I would assume that is the standard throughout the industry. For a sled to be a 95 zrt, it would be stamped as made in 94. I am almost positive that the one in the garage was made late in 94, but will double check that. I can post pics of that which would prove there was a 95 zrt made.
snofrog 11-25-2006, 11:29 PM It all GOOD now let this thread die out!!! :cussing:
[/b]
NEVER !!

still waitin w00t
revrnd 11-26-2006, 08:01 PM When 'doo intro'd the FIII, it was in the middle of the season. So those sleds would have been built in Jan or Feb of that model year. Were they not '95s?
snow800 11-26-2006, 08:19 PM Cat did make a 95 zrt 600.
I seen one in Gaylord.
Skidoo also made a 1995 formula 3 600, it was identical to the 96, but the 95 F3
had a natural tunnel and the 96 was painted black.
A lot of you already know this, but some of you don't.
Every Arctic Cat made since "Arctco" re opened after Arctic Enterprise's
went out of business.
From 1984 up to 1999, the very first 2 numbers on the VIN is what year the sled is.
2000 and up it is the 4th and 5th digits that are the year.
puree 11-26-2006, 08:19 PM Ok, got some pics to put this to an end,,,
