I am looking at buying a 1996 polaris xcr 600 white in color with the new shape hoods(not the square ones)It has 4434 kilometers on it and it has heated bars and thumb.It has been taken in buy a repo depo and they are asking 2700 canadian for the sled.How does that sounds to all of you?Should i buy it?

Is that the mileage showing on the odometer? because Polaris's are in miles not kms, if so that would make it 7000 kms. Look at the shape of the sled like track wear, sloppy clutch etc. Other than that, it seems to be the going price.

That sled is a time bomb waiting to go off!!!!!!!!!! STAY FAR AWAY from a XCR600. They love to eat cranks. So unless the crank has been rebuilt already stay away. And they sell for $1,000-1500 US so 1540-2300 canadian money. Many much better sleds for the money.

Around here they are still going $2500-3500canadian be it the single pipe XLT based or the Agressive Ultra based triple triple

BTW $2700 sound like a good price if in good shape P.Power

The price is decent for what they go for around here. However they are notorious for the cranks going.
