We are going on a few long distance trips and a couple sleds are gas hogs. Instead of having to carry extra gas we figured get a gas siphon hose and if needed transfer on the trail. Can anyone reccomend a good one that you don!t end up with a mouthful of gas?Also where to buy it. Thanks in advance.

I have one that I bought from Canadian Tire. Its pretty small and fits in my sleds trunk. Its red and had a small pump and about 3' of hose.

I'm pretty sure I seen the same get-up in Wally World here so you should be able to get it in the U.S. no problem.

I used to use the old bulb type hose and although it did work it took forever to transfer and fluid when needed........., the pump type is Sooooo much better and quick.

Bought a "Super Siphon" out of Dennis Kirk for $9, also saw it at Big East show. Works great, just put it in your tank, lift up and down vigorously and gas starts to flow.

That unit is the only way to go. It is also referred to as a jiggler.

They have them at Princess Auto here in Canada for $9 CAD

They work great. :thumbsup: Good for emptying the tank @ the end of the season too.

Just carry a hose and a shot of Jim Beam to wash out the gas. ha ha That's what my dad did in the old days. :D
