I seperated the triple section only because Yamaha doesn't offer anything but triples in several of the classes.

I'm with you mr670. I have both, but I prefer the twin for the type of riding I doo. They both have their place. Different rides for different occasions.

You should have left the Yamaha trippple as part of all triples!
Next year I am buying a Yamaha for that reason. Either a triple 2 stroke or a 4 stroke (Quadruple) with H.O. http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Love my twins, I swear by them. Tripples a good don't get me wrong , just to heavy for me and lots of twins can produce the same HP if tuned right.

Twin powerhouses![/b]

Send me a picture of your citation and I will ID it for you. If it is a early 1980 model I will be able to ID it for you without to much problem, and if you have the serial number it will help alot.

My brother had one that was bigger than the other... Instead of telling the doctor one was enlarged he said "look doc, one of em shrunk!".... We can laugh about it because after the biopsy it was NOT cancer. We used to ride together in the early 70's on 338 sno-jets in Vermont.. I can't convince him to get into the sport again like I have... He remembers the un-groomed trails, leaf spring only front suspension and 2" of rear suspension travel and whopping 38? horsepower... Sad..
