just rode a pro x 800. as far as a trial sled i didnt like it. It had good power but the suspension was very stiff. way to much ski lift coming out of corners. Good tourque though. i would say that the xc is ahead of the pro x for the trial. but then again its not really a trial sled. The guy who owns the sled, really liked my zr 800. he was very impressed. through the tight windy trials, he couldnt stay with my zr. He rolled it once and ripped the windshield off of it trying too catch me around a tight corner. i had a good laugh once i new he was ok. :D

why don't he just adjust the suspension???? if ti is too stiff it is easily made softer!!! the sled is set up for jumps 100 feet long and 30 feet high. that's why it is stiff.

that sled will smoke a ZR in the twistys if he knew what he was doing. It's all about rider skill. And if you roll a sled it either hooked something or he didn't lean enough most likely. Guys nowa days don't seam to lean enough. Sleds still need body english to turn at speeds. It also will ride alot softer the faster you go.

maybe a properly set up pro x will walk over a zr 800 but a properly set up zr800 will do the same to the prox you can get any sled to do what you want if you know what your doing. ;)

Wrong Caleb....I can speak from experience...nor does the ZR smoke the ProX.
That ProX is one sweet trail machine, but my buddy and I are even all the time. Of course I can smoke him if you throw in a straightaway, but in the twisties, we are on each other like white on rice, regardless of who is leading.

Friend of mine has a Pro X 800 and we ride tight trails in St Germain all the time. Jim as you can attest, On my 900 he cannot even hang, constantly leading by a minimum of 5 sled lengths. On a loop I ride on a regular basis from Little St Germain Lake to Sportsman Chalet across the Swamp to Sugar Camp, the same thing, 5 sled lenghts and I constantly here whining in my headset of how if he had 100 more ccs he could keep up. But, if I ride his 800 and he rides my 900 I can only cut the distance in half, god bless the big bore!
Hey Dawg! Sounds like your buddy should sell his pro x and buy an arctic crap. The pro x is to much sled for a women!

Sully, gotta love that hi-line and swamp run. Say hi to the poor little fawn at the Chalet next time you're there. How many one dollar bills do you think are stuck to that ceiling?? I will be there the last week in March!! :D :D :D

Jim,
I will be up this weekend, barring it doesn't take me 10 hrs to get out of Illinois with the snow they are predicting. I'm slated to leave today at noon. I love the shot from East Bay from my house, up the high line at about 80 then the swamp, watching out for stumps. I would say that there is about $900 on the ceiling. I will give a word for you up there!
