Looks like the admin of the site say the stickers are a go...all we need is a design!
Lets get some designs made up. Post them under this post so Corey and the rest of the 2000 members of this board can have a look and make a short list. Here is something I came up with. I am going to try and re-arrange it a little. If we cant do the user name then I will put a sled Icon in its place. That names of sled manufacturer&#39;s are in alphabetical order... I also have to shrink it down

If typing in the name is difficult and you guy really want it I would say leave the space blank and then just write it in yourself. With the right cutting machine you could write anything though.

That one I like....but I&#39;m not too keen on all the colours...I think solid coloured lines would be better. Like have a black background with a white sled/rider outline...something like that in a bunch of colour combinations so that you can have the sticker on the sled, and it looks custom too.

I would like to just see the snowmobileworld.com logo like Corey has on top of the screen. I prefer simple. Less cluttered, but the other ides look great! I just don&#39;t like alot of flash on my sled.

That last one is nice w/ or w/ out the multi colors & yes we should have our screen names on the sticker & if you decide to go w/ the sticker w/ all the other *brands on it! *i suppose i could live w/ it lol

I just had another idea...Skidoomaster -- could you incorporate the screen name into your last logo? And what if the slde outline was black, and left the inside clear..then the colour of your sled would show through when you put the sticker on the hood....but then I guess you would have little options of where to put it. How about that?

Rocketman, I made this one up before i read your post. *About the clear backgound? anything is possible. *I guess we would have to find out what it would cost? *Maybe someone on the forum with label manufactureing experience can tell us the easiest way to produce the decals? *We could easily take this image here and make the sled outline black and background white. *The ".com" would have to change to some other color. *

As for text style: *any font can be used. *I dont know the exact font that Cory used, but this one should be close...

I do like that design but I would be inclined to leave the flags off - I know for sure that I have read posts from Swedes and other Europeans on this board - I would not want to exclude them from having the stickers on their sleds if they want them.

Without the flags, the stickers advertise the truly international appeal of Snowmobileworld.com, and our sport.

My personal favorites are the most recent one by "skidoomster" first, then the most recent one by powderboy second. *I like the idea of customizing the screen name on them, but it always costs more to customize.

Only problem i see with that design is what if someone wanted to put this sticker on the back (tinted) window of thier truck?

Can you leave the hood of the snomobile on the sticker clear with black lines and do the rest of the sled in the sticker the way you had it in B/W?

what program are you using to do this...maybe I could give it a go?

I am using Paint Shop Pro 6 for the resizing and changing the effects, and i use Paint for re-coloring and re-drawing. *

For what you are talking about you can use Paint and i know you have it on your computer. *usually comes with Microsoft under the Accessories.

Give it a shot and post it up. *

* The white parts on the sled would be clear -- the same as the hood of the sled..or whatever...the rest would be white because it is snow.

* * * Or the clear parts could be coloured it you are putting it on a truck window. I figure that since there are really 4 colours (Yellow=Skidoo. Green=Arctic Cat, Red=Polaris, and Blue=Yamaha) that it would be easy to have different variations of stickers to choose from.

I&#39;d prefer if it was a little more cleaner...really wouldn&#39;t like to put a larger sticker on the sled. Something less cluttered and gets right to the point....because once they check out the site they will be hook....that&#39;s what you want right, just to advertise the site...well any ways here&#39;s my input.....of course any color combos*

However, it was my understanding that many of us wanted to be able to identify each other on the trail? *Advertising is definitely a bonus, but I believe allot of us like the idea of customizing the sticker with usernames?

I&#39;m with skidoomaster, it would be nice to have our user names on the decal. It might be more costly and a little more work but I think it would be well worth it.

It would be much more economical to just leave a space to put the user name that way we could put on our own, to have each one printed individually with different names is way too expensive as well as time consuming.
I live in a smallish place and I know of three places where i can get graphics made so it shouldn&#39;t be A problem for you guys in bigger cities.
*P.S. I like your designs, I have been trying..but no luck. ;)

I don&#39;t think you really need your user name on it, because if I saw one on a sled I would ask that person if he/she goes on the site alot and what his/her user name is. By the way my little brother made the design for it. He makes all kinds of cool Graphics and Web Designs.

the first thing is , ive had my girlfriend whom does not now much about sleding to look at these.and got an non-partail view(ski-doo,yamaha,polaris,arctic-cat).she thinks there are a couple good ideas but there is need for somemore work on the best ones. i had to agree with her, so here are some points we came up with and hope to see these ideas tried and posted. i wish i new how to post my idea but ill explain it some someone else can try it if they&#39;d like. so here it goes.
* we like skidoomasters 2nd picture post on pg 1 ,we liked radguys 1st picture post on pg 3 for automotive window stickers, and radguys 2nd picture post on pg 3 . we think that *if the glode was enlarged and made into an oval for the whole background on skidoomasters 2nd pictrue post on pg 1 might work real good. why :its not specific to a brand of sled, no user names *and u get the full effect what this site is all about. i think that staying with the original colors of the phrase "snowmobileworld.com" should not be disgarded.
radguys 1st picture post on pg 3 should be the original color too. now radguys 2nd picture post on pg 3 needs the most work.if im not mistaken,i see 2 yamahas,the #1 snowmobile website phrase does not form the same curve as the oval, and snowmobileworld.com runs through the pitcure,maybe put that on the bottom half in the oval look and not straight.
*i dont think the user name idea works,although i like the idea, its just not practical. nor putting the phrase "massage forums" on it either. my idea is still on paper so when i get it done ill try to explain it to you guys and get it posted.
*fare-well till then, and give our thoughts a try.

Why not just have the above logo and under that have the user names. *

Also using an oval shape might not be the best thing because if you want to place it on a round part of the sled if might not fit right.
