My '97 670 blew a hole in the back lower corner of the coolant bottle this weekend.

I was not riding the sled at the time. But sled still runs good and it was shut down right after it blew.

Haven't put a new bottle on yet. But has anyone ever had this happen to them?

Earlier in the day I had lifted the hood and saw the coolant was definitely flowing , so I don't think it was a flow problem. We were riding pretty hard.

I will check the flow rate and bleed the system, check the rear exchangers when I replace the bottle.

Just wondering what might have caused this or perhaps I just got a weak bottle.
