I have a Dayco Ultimax 2 belt with about 90 miles on it, or should I say HAD. It disentegrated (sp?) on a trail. Don't they have a lifetime warranty or something. Ofcourse, you know I didn't keep the package.

Never had a problem with OE, that's why I stick with them. ;)

There was a problem with a batch of new belts from cat. I went through 3 oem belts in under 400 miles, so I tryed a dayco belt and 700 miles later it still looks good. Thats on a zr-900.

They do have a warranty, but you must have the cardboard that the belt came in to claim it. The warranty must be done directly through Dayco, not through the store that you bought the belt from. At least that's what Royal Distributing says when you buy a belt from them...

I have had problems with the ultimax 2 belts slipping when they are cold because they are so hard. I stick with the regular max belt. Better in cold, but doesn't last quite as long.
