Dealers ive called are asking $12,000 Canadian on base model with electric start. First scheduled servicing is 45,000 km (27,000 miles) and it is for valve adjustment. worst case on weight is 20 lbs more than srx. steve

What's that, like 8000.00 U.S. ? http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

I think list price in the U.S. is just under $9,000. If it would actually last 27,000 miles before the first service it would probably be worth it.

F.Y.I guys, yams press release states the RX-1 weights the same as a SRX , even with it's electrict start. That's not the reverse model as it should weight about 15 pounds more. It also has more under hood ponies.

People are paying 8K for new sleds now, why not cough up a little more initially to save in the long run?

people are buying blades too that does not make the price any more realistic.I paid 6461 and tax for my 2000 mxz 700.and around the same for my g.t.600 01.

Throw in another $2,000 for the mountain version plus GST and you're looking at $15000 Canadian. I think my sledding days are soon to be over if that's going to be the future. *http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif
