What other kinds of oil are working good in the exhaust valved engines. I'm looking to try something else different than the APV oil. I have a 2002 ZR 500.

Blue Marble! No smoke, no smell, no carbon and better throttle response. Valves and plugs are spotless. It definetely does what it claims to do. Do a search and read up on it. It's the best oil out there hands down!

ive always run polaris oil in my polaris and arctic cat in my cats. but i just got a 01 zert witht he power valves and im gonna run specto in it. im waiting for my oil to get low so i can fill it up with the spectro, see how that stuff smells, hopefully the power valves will have less tendancy to stick with this stuff.

amsoil has the best cold weather characteristics out of any of them.

put a little bit of each in a paper cup and throw them in your freezer.
you'll see that amsoil never gets syruppy like the others. hence it will be injected easier into you cylinders.

just a thought

Arctic Extreme bought in bulk from the dealer, much cheaper than buying a new jug every time. But have never had a sled with power valves to worry about bunging up and sticking.

I have normally run Klotz but I am considering a switch to Amsoil. It is alot cheaper and while riding in Ontario last week I noticed that most dealers stock Amsoil and so did some of the gas stations.
