I read an article where some guys put lemon pledge on their sled hoods. I was a little skeptical at first, but they were right. It creates a nice shine, and makes the hood smooth, so the snow slides off. You can also use it on the winshield. They DID NOT recommend using it on the seat.

Works great and smells good too. I wouldnt recomend using it on your seat cause it is wax ;)

it works great on the seat! we use it all the time. it keeps them fairly sticky (not to the touch, but you don't slide around on them) and it keeps them in nice shape. my dad used to use wd-40 to keep the vinal from cracking, but that made the seats like a slip and slide (though it did keep the vinal in nice shape). Pledge does wonders for seats, try it some time we use it on all of our sleds. it keeps the seats nice and shiny also :)

as for pledge on the hood, i would imagine it would work, but you can use regular car wax too.... pledge has a tendency to atract dust and dirt, so if you really care about how your sled looks, i wouldn't recomend it.

Motorcylcists have ben using it for years for fast clean-ups, works great. If you want a longer lasting shine, go to your local Honda dealer and pick up a can of Honda-bright. Its a detailing spray in aerosol, works awesome!!

Lemon pledge works awsome.

Just spray a little on and wipe it down really fast. I think it even removes small scratches from the windsheild and really makes it black.

THere are better stuff like the previous poster said but pledge works good enough for me and it smells like lemon which is cool.

I have been using pledge for about 20 yrs,of course I choose the non scented type so my sled doesn't smell like a LEMON :D

Yep, using pledge on painted surfaces goes way way back for a quickie shine. It doesn't last very long, but it is a good short-term way to shine up your machine :D
