Your post is very confusing. Are you talking about the clutch on the motor(primary) or the driven clutch on the jackshaft(secondary)? There aren't any bearings in either one although there are some bushings. Can you be more specific. ???

yes sory its so confusing its the secondary clucth and there i a bushing that looks like it came out of the back of the clutch and in between the axle in the track...its making a horrible noise is this esy ti fix and how many lttle pieces are involved in taking the secondary off???
thanks i hope this helps a little

I'm still confused. There is only one bolt that holds the secondary on.Just remove your belt first and then put on the brake and loosen the bolt. The secondary should slide right off.Be careful not too lose any of the washers that are on the bolt and help to space the clutch. Now you say this bushing or whatever is between the clutch and the axle in the track.Clutch is on top of the sled, axle is underneath sled so you can see why I'm confused.Do you mean the jackshaft(the shaft that the clutch is bolted to).Once you get the clutch off grab the end of the jackshaft and check for any up and down movement. It has a bearing on each side of the tunnel. One you will be able to see right behind the clutch and the other one is inside the chaincase on the other side but it rarely goes because it is bathed in oil.If the peice is indeed out of the secondary you may have to take it to a dealer depending on your mechanical ability to have it repaired.Sounds like the first place ripped you off.If it was a recall and it has broken again that quickly I would be doing some shouting at somebody.

I just had another thought. Most of the primary clutch inner halfs had to be replaced in 97 (factory recall). Is this the piece that you had replaced. If your having problems with the secondary now,I can see why the dealer wouldn't fix it as it has nothing to do with the original problem(different clutch altogether).
