I took my secondary clutch apart 2 days ago and when I put it back together today my sled won't move. The belt burns and if I get the sled moving it surges and won't go over 5 MPH. This is on my 1994 MXZX 470. The spring is white and I'm not sure what holes it should be in. Can anybody help me? Thanks
Is your parking brake on?

No, I don't have a parking brake. Over the 2 days I had the clutch apart I forgot which holes the spring goes into. There are 3 holes in the clutch sheave and 6 holes in the helix.

the holes don't matter it should move no matter what holes they are in . did you wind the spring the wrong way?

you want your white spring in B 4 , it sounds like you did'nt put it together correctly , once you get the helix on the spring you just turn the bottom sheave so to line up the key then push the helix down a little ,now you have to turn the moveable half counter clockwise and push the helix down if it don't go all the way keep turnig till it does B4 is 14 lbs of preload
