Just bought a sled for wife few weeks ago and rode it speedo did not work. So I took cable off and took the conversion box off inspected every thing it all looked fine every thing turned. I did not take the bearing cover off to see if anything was going on in there. I reassembled it took it up north (sled ran great) the speedo worked but seems to be off on speed. If I ride the same distance as her like 30 miles hers shows 20 on trip. My sled if pretty accurate against my gps on milage usualy within 3-5 miles on a 100 mile ride. So what could it be. Its not intermitent it just seems slow and the speedo is reading slow so I know I have the conversion box right.

Sounds to me like you have her cable connected to the KM's. 20Km X the conversion of 1.6Mi/Km = 32 or just about what yours shows. There should be two places on the speedometer to connect the cable, try the other one.

I think you have it backwards. If hers is connected for km, then it would read more than his miles. It's 1.65 km/mi. If he rode 30 miles on his and hers was connected for km, then hers would read 1.65 X 30 = 49.5.
