I want to get an 1-1/4 or 1.5 lug which would be better?

Camoplast is a much better track, quality wise. Put a Predator on it and dont look back. I have a 1" kimpex agressor on one of my sleds. The track does hook well but the Camo is much better constructed, IMO.

i have an 1.25 camoplast on my ho. Great track, amazing grip.

The 2 differnt brands a manufactured quite differently.

Camoplast uses a continuous cord around the length of the track.

Kimpex uses patches of overlaid cord that are only conected by the base rubber....this is @35 year old method. With this method you get thick and thin spots in the cord....which was okay on the old Nordic that only went 20 miles a hour.

I replaced the stock track from my old SKS (too many tearouts) with a similar looking kimpex track and immediately LOST 10 MPH.

Don't ever buy a kimpex track....... made the mistake and it lasted only 1100miles fu..............kin junk!

camoplast for sure, you know the old saying, you get what you pay for, in this case you will get what you pay for. Kimpex tracks imo are for a kwick sale.

Camoplast or invest in a towstrap. :sly:
