Was talking to a girl at work on thurs., we are always going back and forth and giving each other a hard time(in a good natured way)about what sled is better, my DOO or her boyfriends new F7. I asked her if she had got the notice in the mail about the oil pump problem. Not soon enough I guess, they went riding on the weekend and smoked it, and the letter was in the mail when they got home. Ooopps ???

Beleive me when I say that I am Ski Doo through and through. The Firecat has issues and they may have a shortage of parts but I deal with a lot of Arctic Cat dealers and one thing I can say is that Arctic Cat has stepped up to the plate, they not only had the recall for the oil pump they gave you a free gallon of oil and also because of the recalls that had to be done they also gave the F7 owners certificates for $150.00 in Cat Cash just for their inconvenience and I don't know about the dealership that you are talking about but the last threee that I have dealt with Arctic Cat has given them permission to take apart new sleds if they have them in inventory for parts and they will pay the dealership to take them apart, fix the customers sled and pay them to put their inventoried sleds back toghether, now that is what I call some of the best customer relations I have seen. One more thing and that is don't think Ski Doo doesn't have issues with the REV, I deal with about 85 Ski Doo dealerships across Canada and the US and the 800 has a lot of issues with burning down the mag piston, one dealership has had 28 of them, they have problems with the crank bearings moving and pushing seals and the 600's have some major issues with rings. So I guess I am trying to say that to bash a company because of some of their products whether it be Arctic Cat, Ski Doo, Polaris or Yamaha is not in very good taste as sooner or later it will turn around and bite you in the ###. -- Bill

I wasn't bashing anyone, just stating a fact. As I stated in my post, we always kid each other in fun. And hey, I'll be the first to admit Doo has problems, never said they didn't.
